Cameroon league one Champions, PWD social football club of Bamenda, will face Foncha street FC and Yong Sports Academy, in separate friendly games this week.
The Abakwa Boys resumed training in Bamenda last Friday, after spending more than a out of base.PWD will lock horns with league two side, Foncha street FC on Thursday October 29, in Bamenda as from 3pm, before confronting fellow league one side YOSA, on Sunday November 01, 2020.
All three teams are actively preparing for the 2020_2021 football season, during which PWD will be active in three fronts, the elite one Championship, the Cameroon cup and the CAF champions league.
So far, the Abakwa Boys have played 11 friendly games, winning winning five, three draws, and have suffered three defeats. The team has also scored 23 goals, and conceded 12 goals in that process.
Some of their high profile friendlies this far, have come against Futuro Kings in Malabo, South Sudan in yaounde, Apejes, Fortuna, Renaissance, Fauve Azur and Tonnerre Kalara Club in the Tournoir de Solidarité, where the team emerged third.
Coach David Pagou, recently appointed deputy coach of the intermediate lions, Nchindo John Bosco and Basile Yamkam, called up into the same squad, will be unavailable for the double regional derbies.
