Created in 1930, Canon Yaounde, also known as Kpakum was once the most dominant club in Cameroon and Africa, reigning supreme in the late 70s and early 80. Canon has won the championship 10 times, only second to Cotonsport of Garoua. Canon has won the cup of cameroon 12 times. Canon is also three times winners of the CAF Champions League. But Recent successes on the field has been rare for once second national team, better known today for its internal squabble.
