Mbah Louiz Enjonei has extended his PWD stay for another two years, meaning he will stay at the club till at least 2022. Mbah’s contract expired at the end of last season, but both parties have now finalized a deal for him to stay at the club.
“PWD has been my childhood team, I really do hold this team with high regards. I think PWD is one of the teams that is widely exposed and at this moment in my career I have to be in the limelight. The team is currently preparing for the CAF champions league and I think I can contribute my own quota to help the team“, he said.
“We started this project some years back, fighting relegation in the Elite two, and now becoming Elite one champions. It’s just a continuation, writing our names in the history books. I Know the philosophy of the team and believe I can be a plus and take the team to higher heights. I know we can do more”.
The central/offensive Midfielder is currently one of the longest serving player at club, and one of the teams captains.
Mbah featured in 16 games for the Abakwa Boys last season, and scored one goal (against Dragon in Yaounde). A knee injury keep him out for most of last season, but he is now ready for the 2020_2021 campaign.
