The 2023/2024 elite one championship will be played in two pools, of 10 teams and 9 team. A total of 19 teams are taking part in the competition.
The top four teams of each pool will play in a playoff to decide the champion and runners up of the league at the end of the pool phase. The remaining 11 teams will play in the play down playoff to determine the five teams that would drop into the elite two.
